I also have an active interest in medical innovation and educate myself and my patients using new internet technologies and social media.
I also run innovative educational meetings for health care professionals, writes a regular blog, and act a consultant to medical technology startup companies. I am also the proud chairman of the board of Macnas Theatre Company.
I am a former president and secretary of the Irish Society for Rheumatology and a founding member of Performing Arts Medicine Ireland and a member of the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine, Performing Arts Medicine Association (USA) and the American College of Rheumatology
